Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1960. Member, Maryland State Bar Association; Washington County Bar Association. Board of Directors, Washington County Museum of Fine Arts. Member, American Legion; Fraternal Order of Eagles, Hagerstown; Elks Lodge no. 378, Hagerstown; Lions Club of Hancock; Tonoloway Rod and Gun Club. Conservation Legislator of the Year, National Wildlife Federation (Maryland), 1973. Died in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, August 15, 2015.
