[Council to C. Beatty.]

In Council Annapolis 16th Apl 1778.
Sir.
We do not know what Number of Arms you can spare
Colo Hughs, if so far as 100 Stand, we request you to do so,
as we think the 50 will not be sufficient. We sent up some
Barrells to White and Razor the other Day, which we hope,

C. C.

will be soon fitted. The Subject of your Letter, we thought
very proper for the Consideration of the Assembly: it is laid
before them and we. expect a just and regular System will be
adopted with Respect to Waggons. You shall be furnished
with the Result, as soon as it is known to us.
We are &ca
Colo Charles Beatty
