This Board are of Opinion that all Persons actually em-
ployed in manufacturing Small Arms under Richard Bond of
Cecil County should be exempt from actual Service during
the Subsistence of the said Richard Bond's Contract with the
State.

Thursday 7 May 1778.
Present as on Yesterday
Ordered That the western shore Treasurer Pay to William
Logan forty two Pounds thirteen shillings & nine Pence due
him per Acct passed A G.
That the said Treasurer Pay to John Bolton two thousand
one hundred & eighty nine Pounds, five Shillings & four
Pence due him and also the further Sum of nine hundred and
ninty four Pounds six Shillings to be delivered over to Robert
Anderson due him for the Sails of the Snow Champion as per
Resolve of the General Assembly.
That the said Treasurer Pay to Thomas Doyle thirty one
Pounds sixteen Shillings & eight Pence due to the Estate of
James Maw for Damages & House Rent per Account passed
by the Aud. Genl
Ordered That the western shore Treasurer Pay to Major
Daniel J Adams two thousand Dollars out of the money
remitted by Congress for the recruiting Service to be charged
to the 7th Maryland Regiment
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to John Hughs of
the 2 Regt a Suit of Cloaths.
That the said Commissary of Stores deliver to Lieut. James
Peale four and a half yds. Linen & one pair of Shoes.
That the said Commissary of Stores deliver to George
Piercy of the Conqueror Galley as much white flannel as will
make a Waist & Breeches
