This Act to continue for three Years and to the End of the next
' Session of Assembly that shall happen after the End of the said
three years. Col Lloyd, from the Upper House, delivers Mr Speaker
the Bill entitled, An Act impowering the Vestrymen and Church
Wardens of Christ Church Parish in Calvert County to build A
Chapel of Ease in the said Parish &c. and the Bill entituled, An Act
for erecting a County School in Worcester County, and appointing
Visitors for the same: Which Bills were thus Indorsed, (See page
297.)
And being read here, were passed for Ingrossing, Col. King de-
livers Mr Speaker the following Report, Viz.
By the Committee of Accounts, July 1. 1746
In obedience to An order of Your Honourable House your Com-
mittee have examined Mr Richard Burdus Clerk of the Provincial
Court, whether any Suits have been carried on against Benjamin
Bradford late Sheriff of Cecil County Doctr Richard Porter late
Sheriff of Talbot County And Edward Trippe late Sheriff of Dor-
chester County, in Consequence of An Address of the House of

Assembly in August Session 1745, who declared to yr Committee,
that he has not had any order for issuing any such Process, and
therefore no such issued

Wednesday Morning July 2, 1746.
The House met According to Adjournment, and the Proceedings
of yesterday were read; All Members being present as Yesterday
except Mr Pemberton Samuel Chamberlain Esqr from the Upper
House delivers Mr Speaker the Bill entituled, An Act for Limita-
tion of officers Fees Indorsed (See page 297.)
Daniel Dulany Esqr from the Upper House, delivers Mr Speaker
the Bill entituled An Act to divide Prince George's County, and to
erect a new one by the name of Frederick County ( See page 297. )
An ingrossed Bill entituled, An Act impowering the Vestrymen
and Church wardens of Christ Church Parish, in Calvert County, to
build a Chapel of Ease in the said Parish, and to impower the Jus-
tices of said County to leavy, on the Taxable Inhabitants of the said
Parish, the Sum of Eighty Thousand Pounds of Tobacco for the
uses therein mentioned: And
An ingrossed Bill entituled An Act for erecting A County School
in Worcester County, and appointing Visitors for the same: were
read and assented to, And sent to the Upper House with the paper
Bills by Mr Brome and Mr Robins
