Read the second time the Bill ent^d an Act for Limitation of Offi-
cers Fees passed with the following Amendments & sent by Philip
Thomas Esq^r
1st That the whole Preamble be left Out
2^dly That the Fee to the Chancellor for Dedimus Potestatem be
incerted & omit the Words Dedimus Potestatem in the Article of
Commission

3^dly That A Writ of Execution on a Judgment in the Secretarys
fees be 45 instead of 41 it being an Error in the deduction in the Bill
4^thly That there be added to the Examiner Generals fees the fol-
lowing Words viz in the same manner for every Tract on a Resurvey,
for the Vacancy if any be added and for the whole when reduced
into one Tract
5^thly That the same Allowances as in the Secretarys Office for
services not mentioned in the Act be in the several Other Offices
6^thly That after the Words, Great Seal, in third Line of 22^d Page
insert the Words, or Surveyor General when such Office shall be
in the hands of the Governor The Words, And Be it Enacted when-
ever any Attachment is laid where the Sheriff doth not take the
Effects in his Custody that there he shall have no Condemnation fee
