Holland a Sherriff of the same County then and there was Intrusted to Col-
lect and Account for According to the same Francis Holland his Duty of
High Sherriff of the said County and the Condition Afsd And the afsa attor-
ney Genll further Saith That on the afsd first Day of August Anno Dom: Sev-
enteen Hundred and Seventeen the Aforesd Thomas Bordley was And Ever
after Untill the fourteenth Day of Septembr Anno Dom: Seventeen Hun-
dred Twenty and One hath Continued the said Lord Propry his attorney
Genll of the Province afsd And One of the Attorneys of the Provinciall Court
of the Same Province To Witt at Baltemore County Aforesd (the same
Thomas Bordley thereon the Afsd first Day of August Anno Domini Seven-
teen Hundred and Seventeen being Lawfully Constituted and Admitted
[841] Attorney Generall of the afsd Province And One of the Attorneys of
the Provll Court of the same Province) And the aforest attorney first afore
Mentioned further saith That there Arose and Became due Unto the said
Thomas Bordley by Virtue of his offices of Attorney Gen51 and attorney of the
said Provinciall Court on the afsa Twenty fourth Day of December Anno
Dom: Seventeen hundred Twenty and One at the County afsd Sundry fees
Amounting to the Sum of three thousand and two Hundd Pounds of Tobacco
from Sundry Persons then living in Baltemore County afsd Which Sum of
Tob" last mentioned by the same Thomas Bordley the said Francis Holland
as Sherr: of the said County then and there was Intrusted to Collect and Ac-
count for According to the same Francis Holland his Duty of High Sherriff
of the County Afsd and the Condition afsd And the same Attorney Genll Like-
wise Saith That the afsd Francis Holland As Sherriff of the Said County Dur-
ing his Continuance in his said office of Sherivalty had and Received from a
Certain John Beale of Ann Arundell County Esqr the Sum of One thousand
Thirty and five pounds of Tobacco to the Use of the said Thomas Bordley
On the tenth Day of April Anno Dom: Seventeen Hundred Twenty and Two
At Baltemore County afsd And that the Same Francis Holland hath not past
an Account of the afsd Sevll Sums of Tobacco Amounting in the Whole to the
Sum of twenty and four thousand two Hundred thirty and One pounds of To-
bacco to the afsd Thomas Bordley by the Tenth Day of May Next Ensueing
the Date of the Same Writing Obligatory Nor Paid Nor Satisfied the same
Sum of Tobacco last Mentioned or Any pound thereof Unto the said Thomas
Bqrdley in his lifetime or Order (which Same Thomas Lived Untill the
Tenth Day of October Anno Dom: Seventeen Hundred Twenty and Six And
then Died at London in the County afsd) nor Unto the Afsd Ariana Bordley
Widdow and Exrx of the Testament of the same Thomas or Order According
to the Duty of the said Francis Holland his office of High sherriff of the
County Afsd And the form of the Condition Afsd But the same Twenty and
four thousand Two hundred Thirty and One pounds of Tobacco Yet remain
Wholly Unpaid And in no Sort Satisfied Unto the said Thomas Bordley, And
the afsd Ariana and Either of them; And the Afsa Attorney Genll further
