BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a token of our

|

|
esteem and affection for him, that the Delegates,
|
|

|
individually, do herewith present to the Honorable H. Vernon
|
|

|
Eney, President of the Convention, an original of the
|
|
12
|
Great Mace of the Convention, which was used during the
|
|
13
|
conduct of its deliberations and is hereby declared to be
|
|
14
|
an official Mace of the Convention, as a symbol of his
|
|
15
|
authority over and dedication to this great work, in the
|
|
16
|
hope that it may serve as a reminder of his unparalleled
|
|
17
|
services in the cause to which he has been so devoted and
|
|
18
|
of the highest personal regard in which he is held by his
|
|
19
|
fellow Delegates.
