Mr. Buhrman, submitted the following amendment: .Amend section 12, by striking out all after the word "dis- qualified," in line one, to the word "under," in line two; Which was rejected. Mr. Markey, submitted the following amendment: After sub-section 13, insert: Provided, however: That the provisions of this Act, shall not apply to such officers as were elected before, the adoption of the present. Constitution; Which was adopted. The bill was then read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. The bill entitled, an Act to repeal and re-enact sections 66, 67, 68, 69 and 70, of Article 8, of the Code of Public Local Laws, of Cecil county, relating to Elkton; Was read the second time, amended, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
