The bill entitled, an Act to aid in the re-organization of
St. John's College;
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill entitled, an Act to add an additional section to
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, of Baltimore
City, entitled, "Police;"
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill entitled, an Act to authorize Henry Droenburg
and others, to put up gates on the county roads;
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The hill entitled, an Act to change the boundary lines be-
tween Somerset and Dorchester counties, so as to include the
Islands West of Somerset county, within the limits of Somer-
set county;
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading
The bill entitled, an Act to change the name of Richard
Dodson, of Baltimore City, to Rio-hard Steams Dodson;

a third reading.
The bill entitled, an Act to add an additional section to
the sixty-ninth Article, of the Code of Public Laws, entitled,
"Officers;"
"Was taken up for consideration on its second reading.
Mr, Miller, of A. A., moved to strike out the enacting
clause of the bill;
