: The said bill was then sent to the Senate. Mr. Smith, of Dorchester, submitted the following order: Ordered, That on and after this day, each county, and each Legislative district of the City of Baltimore, be allow- ed to call up one bill; the counties and the Legislative dis- tricts of the City of Baltimore to be called alphabetically; Which was rejected. Mr. Pilkington, from the Committee on Registration, moved to suspend the rules to submit a report, and petition; Which was rejected. Mr. Pilkington, from the Committee on Registration, to which was recommitted the bill to restore to the rights of citizenship and elective franchise Wm. Thompson of B., and others; Reported said bill with amendment. AMENDMENT PROPOSED. Amend by striking out the names of'Lemuel Malone, F. A. J. Rider and G. W. Watkins; The amend-Gent was concurred in, and the bill made the Order of the Day for to-morrow at 11 o'clock. The bill entitled, "An Act to authorize the Powhattan Steamboat Company to increase the amount of capital stock thereof;;" Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
