998 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 19,

city of Baltimore, as provided by the forty-first section of the
tenth article of the Constitution;

Was read a second time, and

Ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Carmichael, chairman of the committee on the Judi-
ciary, reported favorably without amendment the Senate bill
entitled, an Act to authorize Loudon Park Cemetery to make
and enforce calls or assessments upon its capital stock;

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Bixler moved a suspension of the rules, in order to
give the bill a third reading.

Pending the consideration of which,

On motion of Mr. Bixler,

A call of the House was ordered.

The following members responded to their names.

On motion of Mr. Morgan,

All further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.

The question then recurring upon the motion of Mr. Bix-
ler to suspend the rules, it was decided in the negative.

On motion of Mr. Jones,

The rules being suspended,

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled, an
Act to repeal section 65 of article 19 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Somerset county, relating to Justices of the
Peace and Constables, and to amend and re-enact the same;

Which was read a second, and, by special order, a third
time, and passed by yeas and nays, as follow:
