Linthicum, Wilson,

Mr. Carmichael, Chairman of the Committee oa Judiciary,
reported favorably without amendment,

The Senate bill, entitled an acb to repeal chapter 247,
passed January session, 1864, entitle au Act to add an
additional section to article 30 of the Code of Public General
Laws, relating to crimes and punishments,

Which was read a second time.

Also, the Senate bill entilit-d an Act to provide for the
changing of names by application to the judge of the several
Circuits of this State and of the Circuit Court of Baltimore
city.

Also, the Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional
section to article 29 of the Code of Public General Laws in re-
lation to Courts.

Also, the Senate bill entitled an act to repeal the 4th sec-
tion of the Act of January session, 1860, chapter 303, enti-
tled au act to carry into effect the 8th section of the Act en-
titled an Act for the promotion of internal improvements
passed at December session 1855, chapter 395,

Which were severally read a second time.

Mr. Williams, Chairman Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably without amendment the Senate bill enti-
tled an Act to assist the Children Aid Society in the city of
Baltimore to develop and carry out their charitable purposes,

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Carmichael, Chairman Committee on the Judiciary,
reported favorably,

A Senate bill entitled an Act to make valid deeds executed
and acknowledged since the first day of November, 1864, be-
fore the justices of the peace in any county in this State where
the grantors resided or where lands are situated,

Which was read a second time.

Also, favorably, the bill entitled, an Act to repeal section
957, chapter 29, of the Act of 1862, entitled "Parks."

Mr.. Clarke, Chairman Committee on Claims, reported fa-
vorably, without amendment, the Senate bill entitled, an Act
for the relief of the securities on the bond of John D. Nabb,
former collector of State taxes in Talbot county,

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Williams, Chairman Committee oa Ways and Means,
reported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to appropriate a sum
