Cook and James L. Eidgley, Jr., be and they are
hereby incorporated a body politic for making a
turnpike road on or near the bed of the Deer Park
Road in Baltimore County, to be commenced on
the said road at the bridge over the north branch
of the Patapsco, extending to Mr. Hamill's Store
|

Route.

at the intersection of the Deer Park and Old
Church Roads, and running from thence either
along the said Deer Park Road to intersect the
Liberty Turnpike Road, or from the said Hamill's
Store on the most direct and practicable route
passing by Painter's Mill to intersect the Reisters-
town Turnpike Road.

Capital stock.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the capital stock
of said Company shall not exceed twenty thousand
dollars, to be divided into shares of twenty dollars
each, one dollar to be paid at the time of subscrip-
tion thereof, and the remainder in such installments
as the President and Board of Directors may call
for, and as soon as subscribers to the amount of
four thousand dollars are obtained, the stock-
holders1 shall proceed to organize in the same
manner and with the same powers as the Balti-
more and Liberty Turnpike Company, incorporated
by the Act of eighteen hundred and sixty-six,
Chapter fifty-five, and all stockholders in any
election of the officers of said corporation shall be
entitled to one vote in person or by proxy for
every share ; provided, that no person or body
politic shall be entitled to more than fifty votes,
no matter what number of shares he, she, it or
they may be entitled to.

Title.
|
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the stockholders
in said Company be and they are hereby incorpo-
rated a body politic, by the name of the Deer
Park Turnpike Road Company in Baltimore
County, and by the same name shall have succes-
sion during the continuance of this corporation,
and the said stockholders and their successors by
the above authority may sue and be sued, answer
and be answered in any court of law or equity in
this State, and may adopt and use a common seal,
and may do and execute every other matter and
thing by the name aforesaid that they are autho-
rized to do by virtue of this Act.
