The Journal of Saturday was read and approved.

Mr. Malone, from the Select Committee, to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to add a new section to Ar-
ticle 16, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Chan-
cery," sub-title "Jurisdiction," reported it without amend-
ment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Timmons moved, to recommit said bill to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings, and on that motion demanded
the yeas and nays.

On the question being put,
It was determined in the affirmative.
