Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

Mr. Browne, from the Select Committee, to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to establish voting pre-
cincts in Westminster district, in Carroll county, reported it
without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred the House bill entitled an Act to incorporate
the Baltimore Land Improvement Loan and Deposit Com-
pany, reported it without amendments.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Miller, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to whom was referred House bill entitled an Act to amend
Article 30, of the Public General Laws, by adding thereto
additional sections regulating the execution of the death
penalty, reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates returned the follow-
ing bill:

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 3, of an Act
passed March 21st, 1867, chapter 329, entitled an Act to pro-
vide for the selection, drawing and summoning of jurors in
the several counties and prescribing their qualifications, and
also, section 2 of an Act passed and approved March 30th,
1868, chapter 316, entitled an Act to repeal section 2 of an
Act passed March 21st, 1867, chapter 329, entitled an Act to
provide for the selection, drawing and summoning of jurors
in the several counties, and prescribing their qualifications,
and re-enact the same with amendments, and to re-enact the
said sections 2 and 3, with amendments, with proposed
amendment:

In section 2, strike out the words "Worcester and Somer-
set," and in the next line after the word "Howard,"
insert the words: Worcester and, Somerset.

Which was concurred in,

And said bill, as amended, passed by yeas and nays, as fol-
lows:
