So two-thirds of all the Senators having voted, in the affir-
mative, said bill was put upon the third reading.

Mr. Timmons submitted the following amendment:

Amend by adding to the end of the 1st section, provided
that nothing herein contained shall apply to the School fund
of Worcester county.

Which was read.

Mr. Malone called for the yeas and nays.
On the question being put,
It was determined in the affirmative.

sideration of the vote by which said amendment was adopted.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Baltimore and Hall's Springs Railway Company, reported it
without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 75, sec-
tion 23, of the Code of Public General Laws of the State of
Maryland, relating to amendment of proceedings in actions
at law,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as

follows:
