Fields,

Mr. Henkle submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the Chairman of the Committee on Claims
of the House of Delegates, issue his warrant, to C. J. Fox,
Esq., reporter of the proceedings of the Senate for the Balti-
more News Association, for the same amount allowed by the
House of Delegates to James Wingate, the reporter of the
House proceedings, (three hundred dollars,) and that the
Librarian furnish the amount of stationery allowed to mem-
bers of this Legislature to Mr. Fox and also to Mr. James
P. Matthews, correspondent of the Baltimore American.

Which was read and adopted.
Mr. Clarke submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the Chairman of the Committee on Claims
be authorized to issue his certificate in favor of the Journal
Clerk of the Senate for six days per diem for correcting and
revising the unprinted Journals of the Senate

Which was adopted.
On motion by Mr. Henkle, it was

Ordered, That five thousand copies of the Oyster Law just
passed by the Legislature be immediately printed and deliv-
ered to the Secretary of the Senate; one thousand copies to be
distributed to members of the Legislature; one thousand
copies to the Comptroller of the Treasury; one thousand
copies to the Commander of the State Oyster Police force,
and two thousand copies to the Clerks of the Circuit Courts
for the tide-water counties, for general distribution among
those interested in the Oyster trade.

The House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Johns
Hopkins Mutual Life Insurance Company of Baltimore,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
