And Fisheries," in the Patuxent river, and re-enact the same
with amendments, with the following proposed amendments:

Amend by inserting after the word "River," in the third
line, the following: below Queen Anne, in Prince George's
county.

Amendment 2d, amend by striking out all after the word
"except," in line 3, section 2, down to the word "nor," line
6, same section, and insert in lieu thereof, bona fide citizens
of the State of Maryland.

Which were non-concurred in.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 194 to 197 inclu-
sive, chap. 35, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, relating to docks, and re-enact the same with amend-
ments, with the following proposed, amendment :

Sec. 194, strike out "two" and insert five; sec. 196, add
at the end of section the words: to be paid to the Harbor
Master for the use of the City of Baltimore.

Which was read and concurred in, and bill passed by yeas
and nays, as follows :

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Howard Mutual
Life Insurance and Trust Company of Baltimore, with pro-
posed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out section 5, and insert in lieu thereof the follow-
ing:

Sec. 5. And be it enacted. That there shall be a guarantee
capital of at least one hundred thousand dollars, to be divided
into shares of twenty dollars each, which shall be personal
property, transferable on the books of the Company, in con-
formity with its by-laws; that the said guarantee capital stock
shall he invested, in the securities of the United States, the
State of Maryland, or the City of Baltimore, either one or all
of said securities, and the same deposited with the Treasurer
of this State, as a guarantee for the payment of the policies
of insurance issued by said Company; and the said Company,
