CHAPTER 46.
AN ACT granting the assent of the General Assem-
bly to a bequest of a legacy made in the last
will and testament of Elizabeth A. McMains,
late of Cecil County, deceased, to the Trustees
of the Lower West Nottington Presbyterian
Church, in said County.

WHEREAS, Elizabeth A. McMains, late of Cecil
County, deceased, by her last will and testament,
bearing date February the twenty-first, in the year
eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, bequeathed to
the Trustees of the Lower West Nottington Pres-
byterian Church, in said County, a tract of land
supposed to contain twenty-eight acres, in trust,
for the use of the said Church, and for no other
purpose; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the assent of the General As-
sembly of Maryland is hereby given to carry into
effect the bequest in the last will and testament of
Elizabeth A. McMains, late of Cecil County, de-
ceased, in favor of the Trustees of Lower West
Nottington Presbyterian Church, in said County.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 47.
AN ACT to amend an Act, passed January Ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and sixty, entitled " An
Act to incorporate the Carrollton Avenue Com-
pany."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That if the Carrollton Avenue Com-
pany should deem it necessary and proper, it shall
have the power to change the location of the Car-
rollton Avenue, as authorized by the original Act,
