town against any loss, who shall also be a Col-
lector of Taxes imposed by the Corporation, who
shall have power to collect the same by distress
upon either real or personal property, as Collectors
of County Taxes.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the Burgess and
Commissioners of said town shall have power to
appoint all other officers not herein named, who
may be deemed necessary to execute the powers of
said Corporation and the laws thereof.

Sec 4. And be it enacted, That all other Acts
conflicting with the foregoing Sections are hereby
repealed.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That the Charter of
said Corporation and its amendments shall con-
tinue in full force and effect until repealed by
special act of legislation, on petition of three-
fourths of the legal voters of said town.

AN ACT to repeal Sections seventeen and nine-
teen of Article tenth of Public Local Laws of
Dorchester County, entitled " Almshouse," and
to repeal Sections ten and twenty of said Article,
and re-enact the same with amendments.

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Sections seventeen and nineteen
of Article tenth of Public Local Laws of Dorches-
ter County, entitled " Almshouse," be and the
same are hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That Sections ten and
twenty of Article ten of the Public Local Laws of
Dorchester County, entitled "Almshouse," be
and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:

Sec. 10. They shall annually, between the first
and the tenth day of May, appoint an overseer of
