Auditor to act, it shall and may bs lawful for the
said Court, or the Judges or Judge thereof hold-
ing the same, to appoint by order a special Audi-
tor, to whom reference shall be made instead of
the regular Auditor, and the powers, duties and
compensation of such special Auditor shall he in
all respects the same as those of the regular Audi-
tor of said Court, and such special Auditor shall
in all cases, before acting as such, take the oath
prescribed to be taken by the regular Auditor.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 75.
|
|

AN ACT to prevent Fishing in Israel's Creek, in
Washington County.
|
|
Not to fish.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That no person or persons shall in
any manner or way, except by hook and line, fish
in the waters of Israel's Creek, in. Washington
County, from the date of the passage of this Act
until the first day of April, A. D., 1872.
|
|
Penalty.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That any person or
persons violating the preceding Section shall pay
a fine of five dollars for each and every offence, to
be recovered before a Justice of the Peace of said
county, one-half of which fine shall be paid to the
County Commissioners for the use of the public
schools of said county, and the other half to the
informer.

Sec. 3, And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect and be in full force from the date of its
passage.
