Bill accepted.

Act inconsistent with this Act are also repealed,
but all parts of said original Act not inconsistent
herewith are continued in force; provided, however,
that this Act shall not take effect until the same
shall have been accepted by the holders of more
than half the whole number of shares of stock of
the said The President and Directors of the Monu-
mental Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore, and
when so accepted this Act and the said original
Act, as hereby modified, shall constitute the char-
ter of the said corporation.

May amend.

Sec. 11. And be it enacted, That the General
Assembly reserves the right to alter, amend or
repeal this Act at pleasure.

CHAPTER 92.

AN ACT to repeal Section forty-three, Article sixty-
one, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Mechanics' Lien" and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Repealed and
re-enacted.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section forty-three of Article
sixty-one of the Code of Public General Laws, be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted as follows:

Not to apply.

43. The provisions of the preceding Section of
this Article shall not apply to Kent, Charles, Cal-
vert or Saint Mary's Counties.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
