CHAPTER 93.
AN ACT entitled a supplement to the Act entitled
"An Act to incorporate the Frederick and Em-
mittsburg Turnpike Company," passed Decem-
ber Session, eighteen hundred and forty-four,
Chapter one hundred and thirty-sis.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by tile General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Frederick and Emmitts-
burg Turnpike Company be and they are hereby
authorized and empowered to sell, transfer and
convey to the Frederick and Woodsborough Turn-
pike Road Company all such parts of their Road
next to the said Frederick and Woodsborough
Turnpike Road Company, which part of the Road
of the said Frederick and Emmittsburg Turnpike
Company, commences at the house of the heirs of
William D. Worman, deceased, as may be agreed

to sell.

on; provided, the said Frederick and Emmittsburg
Turnpike Company shall still retain at least
twenty miles of their Turnpike Road.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the right of tak-
ing tolls and the franchises of the Frederick and
Emmittsburg Turnpike Company over the parts
of said Road, to be transferred, sold and conveyed
to the Frederick and Woodsborough Turnpike
Road Company in case such sale, transfer and con-
veyance be made, be and the same is vested in the
Frederick and Woodsborough Turnpike Road Com-
pany.

Sec. 3. And be it, enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
