Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Baltimore, Calverton and
Powhatan Railroad Company.
On motion of Mr. Touchstone,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill to amend the Charter of the Cecil and Harford
counties Boom Company, passed at the January Session of
1867, chapter 195, and to require said Company to remove
certain and all obstructions placed by said Company in the
Susquehanna river, in violation of their Charter.
On motion of Mr. Cameron,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill to change the place of holding elections in
the fifth district of Baltimore county,
On motion of Mr. Duke,
Leave was granted to the Calvert county delegation and
Mr. Loker, of St. Mary's, to introduce a bill to prohibit the
the catchitg of oysters for sale, in the waters of the Patux-
ent river, from the fifteenth day of April to the fifteenth day
of October.
On motion of Mr. Kilbourn,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to ameud the 3d section of the 75th Article of
the Public General Laws relating to pleading, practice, and
process.
On motion of Mr. Neill,
Leave was granted to the Washington county delegation
to introduce a bill to amend the charter of Smithsburg in
Washington county, by adding additional sections thereto.
Mr. Morse, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations
reported favorably, a bill entitled an Act entitled a supple-
ment to an Act, passed by the General Assembly of Mary-
land at the January session 1868, chapter 424, entitled an
Act to incorporate the town of Berlin.

Mr. Gatch, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably, a bill entitled an Act to provide for building a bridge
over Gunpowder river, at Warren's Factory, in Baltimore
county.
