The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and delivered
The House bill entitled an Act changing the style of' the:
Oyster Police Board, and making the Commissioner of the
Land Office one of said Board.
Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
Also,
The House bill entitled an Act to regulate the taxation of
Coal Mining Companies of this State fur State purposes.
Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.
Also, returned
The -Senate bill entitled an Act to transfer the State's ap-
propriation to the Massey and Elkton to the Middletown and
Elkton Railroad Company,
Endorsed "Considered, request to recede not acceded to,
and a Committee of Conference proposed."
Also, the following:
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
March 27, 1872.
Gentlemen of {he Senate :
We propose, with the concurrence of your Honorable Body,.
the appointment of a Committee of Conference, to take into
consideration a bill entitled an Act to prohibit stock running
at large in Reisterstown, Baltimore county, which was re-
turned to this House unfavorably reported from a. Select Com-
mittee, which unfavorable report was adopted by your Hon-
orable Body.
