CHAPTER 13.
AN ACT to confirm and approve an Act passed at
January session, eighteen hundred and seventy,
chapter two, entitled " an Act to authorize the
County Commissioners of Frederick county to
subscribe to the stock of Turnpike Companies in
said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Act passed at January session,
eighteen hundred and seventy, chapter two, entitled
" an Act to authorize the Commissioners of Fred-
erick county to subscribe to the stock of Turnpike
Companies in said county," be and the same is
hereby confirmed and approved.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That tills Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 14.
AN ACT to change the name of the Children's Aid
Society of Baltimore, to the name " The Henry
Watson Children's Aid Society of Baltimore, and
otherwise to amend the constitution of said so-
ciety.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the name of the " Children's Aid
Society of Baltimore," be and the same is hereby
changed to the name " The Henry Watson Children's
Aid Society of Baltimore," which is hereby fixed and
established in perpetuity as the corporate name of
' said society.
