INSPECTION?.
For the salaries of the five Inspectors of Tobacco
in Baltimore city, two thousand five hundred dollars
each, twelve thousand the hundred dollars; for in-
surance on State Tobacco "Warehouses, five hundred
dollars, or so much thereof as, in the discretion of
the Comptroller, may he necessary; for the payment
of the annual ground rent on the tobacco warehouse
lots in Baltimore, four hundred and forty-eight dol-
lars and eleven cents.
LEGISLATURE.
For the Secretary of the Senate, three hundred
dollars; to the Chief Clerk of the House of Delegates,
three hundred dollars; for binding the laws, Journals
and documents of the present session, three thousand
dollars; to pay the expense of distributing the laws,
journals and documents, one hundred and fifty dol-
lars; to pay the members of the General Assemble,
their officers and attendants, including the cost of
printing, postage and miscellaneous expenses, and
the per diem of the President of the Senate, and
Speaker of the House of Delegates, one hundred and
fifty thousand dollars; for indexing the laws and
journals of the Senate and House of Delegates, twelve
hundred dollars, or so much thereof as the Commit-
tee on Printing may contract to pay.
PUBLIC DEBT.
For the payment of the interest on the public debt
of this State, that is to say, the interest falling due
(quarterly and semi-annually on the currency debt,
the interest due semi-annually on the Maryland De-
fence Loan, the interest on the sterling debt falling
due semi-annually, and payable in London, including
the cost of exchange, remittance and commissions,
the interest on the Southern Relief bonds due semi-annually, and the semi-annual interest due on the
Deaf and Dumb Asylum loan, seven hundred and
fifty thousand dollars.
She. 2. And be if enacted, That the Treasurer of the
State shall, upon the -warrant of the Comptroller;
