under each heading to a single page of the ledger,

SEC. 87 M. Be it enacted, That all documents,

be subject to the examination of the grand jury and

SEC. 87 N. Be it enacted, That upon the expiration

of his term of office the collector shall deposit with

SEC. 87 O. And be it enacted, That it shall not be

taxes by him collected, other than such sum as the

commissioners shall designate, upon, the receipt of

the duty of the said commissioners, in designating

what money the said collector shall thus monthly

retain, to fix such sum as will bear the same propor-

|
tion to his entire salary, that the amount of taxes
|
 
|
|
collected and by him reported, bears to the whole
|
 
|
|
amount of the taxes levied; and upon the final
|
 
|
|
settlement of the said commissioners with said col-
|
 
|
|
lector, it shall be the duty of the said commissioners
