the true intent and meaning of this act that the

collector shall only be paid for the services he
|

actually performs.

SEC. 87 P. And be it enacted, That if any vacancy

death, removal, or from any other cause whatever,

it shall be the duty of the said commissioners to fill

such vacancy for the unexpired term; and the per-

SEC. 87 Q. Be it enacted, That it shall be the duty

SEC. 87 R. Be it enacted, That the provisions of
