liquors or lager beer on the premises where such

offence was committed, during the time for which
|

the suppressed license was granted, and any license

obtained contrary to the provisions of this section

shall be void.

Repealed.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of
|
|
 
|
acts, inconsistent with this act, are hereby repealed.
|
|
In force.
|
SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
|
 
|
effect from the date of its passage.
|

CHAPTER 303.

AN ACT to repeal sections eighty-two to ninety-
|
|
 
|
four inclusive, of article seven, of the Public Local
|
|
 
|
Laws of Maryland, relating to the Town of Union-
|
|
 
|
town, in Carroll county, and re-enact the following
|
|
 
|
in lieu thereof:
|
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
 
|
Maryland, That sections eighty-two, eighty-three
|
|
Repealed.
|
eighty-four, eighty-five, eighty-six, eighty-seven,
|
|
 
|
eighty-eight, eighty-nine, ninety, ninety-one, ninety-
|
|
 
|
two, ninety-three and ninety-four, of the Public
|
|
 
|
Local Laws, which relate to the incorporation of the
|
|
 
|
Town of Uniontown, are hereby repealed.
|
|
 
|
SECTION 82. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
 
|
Maryland, That the citizen and inhabitants of the
|
|
 
|
Town of Uniontown. in Carroll county, are a body
|
|
Incorporated.
|
corporate, by the name of Bargess and Commission-
|
|
 
|
ers of the Town of Uniontown, and by that name
|
|
 
|
shall be capable in law to sue and be sued, plead and
|
|
 
|
be impleaded, in any court of law or equity, and
|
|
 
|
shall have perpetual succession, and may make all
|
|
 
|
by-laws necessary for the purposejherein mentioned.
