SEC. 30. D. The county commissioners of said
|
 
|

county shall give two weeks notice by publication
|
 
|
|
in the county papers, of the time of receiving bids
|
dive notice.

for said collection of taxes, on which day at twelve
|
 
|
|
o'clock meridian, they shall meet in their office at
|
 
|
|
the Court House, Belair, and hold an open session
|
 
|
|
for one hour, for the reception of bids, when the
|
 
|
|
same shall be opened, and their decision made;
|
 
|
|
provided, however, that if they be in doubt as to the
|
 
|
|
sufficiency of the bond offered by any bidder or
|
 
|
|
bidders, they may postpone their decision as to such
|
 
|
|
bid or bids to such time, not exceeding two weeks,
|
 
|
|
to examine into the same, and should any such bond,
|
 
|
|
in their judgment, prove insufficient, shall award
|
 
|
|
the collection to the next lowest bidder having a
|

good and sufficient bond, and having in the judgment
|
 
|
|
of said commissioners, good business qualification
|
 
|
|
for said office; should the bond of any bidder prove
|
 
|
|
defective merely as to matters of form, this may be
|

corrected by filing a new one.

SEC. 30 E. Should no bid be received, as to any
|

district or districts of said county, or should none be

SEC. 67. The County Commissioners, of Harford
