AN ACT to authorize the Register of Wills of

Washington county to transcribe certain records.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That Thomas E. Hilliard, Register of

Wills of Washington county be and he is hereby
|
|
 
|
authorized and directed to transcribe will books,
|
|
 
|
Liber "A. No. 1." Liber "A. No. 2," and Liber
|
|
 
|
" D," now of record in his office, said books by con-
|
|
 
|
stant handling being almost destroyed.
|
|
 
|
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That the paid Register of

Wills shall receive for such services compensation at

the rate now allowed by law for similar services.

SEC. 3. Be it enacted. That the county commission-
