CHAPTER 390.

AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and fifty -

six of the Code of Public Local Laws; title " Queen

Ann's county," sub-title " Surveyor."

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That section one hundred and fifty-six of Repealed.

the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Queen Anne's

county," sub-title " Surveyor," be and the same is

hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 391.

AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council

of Baltimore city to subscribe to the capital stock

of the Baltimore, Chesapeake and Delaware Bay

Railroad Company, or to endorse the bonds of

the said company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of Bal-
timore city be, and they are hereby authorized and

empowered to subscribe to the capital stock of the

Baltimore, Chesapeake and Delaware Bay Railroad

Company, or to endorse the first mortgage bonds of

the said company, to an amount not exceeding six

hundred thousand dollars, upon such terms and

conditions as the said Mayor and City Council may

by ordinance prescribe.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this act shall take
