an act to lay off streets in Baltimore county, adjoin-

ing Baltimore city, and to repeal certain acts incon-

sistent therewith, and so forth, and to re-enact the

same with amendments be, and the same is hereby

repealed, and the following sections are hereby en-

acted in lieu thereof.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the repeal of the

act hereinbefore mentioned, or any part of it, shall

not effect or invalidate in any way any proceedings

and construction of any street or avenue under the

act of eighteen hundred and seventy-four, chapter
four hundred and forty-one, but all such proceedings

shall be carried to final completion and termination,

as provided for by said act, and shall not effect or

invalidate in any way, any contract or contracts

made by the County Commissioners of Baltimore

county, for laying off streets, avenues and squares,

and establishing grades in said county under the act

of eighteen hundred and seventy-four, chapter four

hundred and forty-one; but all proceedings taken

and contract made for laying off streets, avenues

and squares, and establishing grades under said act,
