LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the company hereby in-

 

corporated shall have power, with the consent of the County

 

Commissioners of Wicomico County and of the municipal

chase, hire or lease any other line or lines for the purpose

 

of making connections therewith or to connect with any other

 

line or lines in any manner whatsoever, shall require a two-

 

thirds majority vote of the stockholders after ten days' notice

 

has been given them.

Capital stock.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the capital stock of said

 

company shall not exceed two thousand dollars, and shall

 

be divided into shares of five dollars each, and that the di-

 

rectors are hereby authorized and empowered to proceed with

 

the business of the company whenever ten per cent, of the

 

capital stock shall have been paid in.

 

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 600.

 

AN ACT to prohibit the granting of license for the sale of

 

spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer in any part of

 

the district of Baltimore City bounded by Twentieth street,

 

Oak street, Twenty-fourth street, St. Paul street, Hunting-

 

don avenue and Guilford avenue.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
