CHAP. 105.

LAWS OF MARYLAND.

satisfied that the said Frances Lane has left no heirs, order
and direct Baptist Mattingly, administrator of Frances
Lane, to pay unto the creditors of Michael Lane their just
claims against the said Michael Lane, should the sum in his
hands be sufficient, if not,(in equal proportion among them
agreeably to the amount of their respective claims.

 

CHAPTER 104.

An act to divorce Eliza David from her husband Victor
David.

Divorce.

Be it enacted by the General Assemble Maryland, That
Eliza David be and she is hereby divorced from her hus-
band, Victor David, a \inculo matrimonii.

 

CHAPTER, 105.

Passed Feb. 27, 1834

An additional supplement to the act entitled, an act to pro-
mote internal improvement.

Treasurer directed
—condition

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be and he is hereby
authorised and directed, whenever application shall be made
to him for that purpose, by the President and Directors of
the Baltimore and Ohio rail road company, or as conveni-
ently may be thereafter, to issue and deliver to the said
company certificates of the stock of the state, bearing in-
terest of five per cent, pet annum, from the first day of
April, eighteen hundred and thirty-five, payable quarterly,
irredeemable for fifteen years, for the sum of one hundred
and twenty-five thousand dollars, being the whole of the resi-
due which at the date of this act is uncalled for, of the
stock subscribed on behalf of the State of Maryland in
the said company, for the purposes contemplated in the
original act incorporating the said company: Provided,
that before such certificates shall be delivered as aforesaid,
the President and Directors of the said company shall pre-
pare and deposit with the said treasurer an obligation on
the part of the said company, pledging the property and reve-
