HONORABLE SIR:
I herewith submit the following report of the License Inspector of the State of Maryland for the
fiscal year beginning July 1st, 1955, and ending June 30, 1966.
The total result of the inspection of licenses over the State of Maryland for the fiscal year 1955-56
amounted to $106,998.19. Of this amount $57,179.11 was collected in the counties, and $49,819.08
was collected in Baltimore City. The net amount of penalty collected in the counties amounted to
$20,904.81, and the net amount of penalty collected in Baltimore City amounted to $15,325.59.
The following is a list of the various kinds of licenses which had to be secured in the counties
and Baltimore City after inspections were made by State Inspectors.
