ELECTIONS.
Chapter 47 adds the following:
5. The place for holding elections in the third district in
Baltimore county, shall be at the house known as the Six Mile
House, on the Hookerstown road.

INSPECTOR AND WOOD CORDER NEAR CANTON.
Chapter 32 adds the following •
6. The Governor, by and with the consent of the Senate,
shall, on or before the first Monday of March next ensuing,
appoint one inspector of fire wood, whose duty it shall be to
inspect and cord all fire wood landed and sold on the East bank
of the Patapsco river, on what is known as shores of the Canton
Company, between the city limits of direct taxation and the
lower Canton house in Baltimore county.
7. The said Inspector, before entering upon the duties of the
office, shall take and subscribe the following oath or affirma-
tion, as the case may be, before some person qualified to admin-
ister the same: I do solemnly swear or affirm that I will faith-
fully, truly and impartially, according to the best of my skill,
judgment and understanding, execute, do and perform the office
and duty of inspector and corder of wood, according to the true
intent and meaning of the law of the State relative to the same,
so help me God.
8. All fire wood (wheresoever purchased) landed within the
limits described in the first section of this act, shall be inspected
and corded by the inspector appointed under the provisions of
•this act, and the said inspector shall be entitled and demand
and receive six-and-a-quarter cents for each cord of fire wood
inspected by him.
9. All fire wood landed and sold within the limits before
described in section first of this act, shall be at least four feet
