Princess Anne, by the commissioners of said town;
[by virtue of the act of eighteen hundred and sixty-
one, chapter twenty-eight] for election district num-
ber six, four justices of the peace and four constables;
for election district number seven, two justices of the
peace and one constable; for election district num-
ber eight, two justices of the peace and one con-
stable; for election district number nine, two justices
of the peace and two constables; for election district
number ten, one justice of the peace and one con-
stable; for election district number eleven, two jus-
tices of the peace and one constable; for election
district number twelve, two justices of the peace and
two constables; for election district number thirteen,
two justices of the peace and two constables; for
election district number fourteen, three justices of
the peace and three constables; and for election dis-
trict number fifteen, one justice of the peace and

one constable. The additional justice of the peace
and constable authorized to be appointed by this act,
for the fourteenth, election district of said county, in
addition to the duties, obligations and fees now pre-
scribed by law as appertaining to the said additional
officers respectively, shall be charged with the duty
of preserving order at Crisfield in said district, and
of enforcing the act to prevent interruption of the
navigation of Little Annamessex river in Somerset
county, passed at the session of the general assembly
eighteen hundred and sixty -seven, chapter two hun-
dred and ninety-five.
