CHAPTER 377.


AN ACT to incorporate the town of Lonaconing,


in Allegany county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That the citizens of the town of Loa-

aconing, in Allegany county, are a body corporate

by the name of the Mayor and Councilmen of Lon-


aconing, and by that name to sue and be sued, and


have and use a common seal.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the limits of said


town be as follows : Beginning at a post planted at


the south-west corner of the bridge over Jackson


run, on the county road leading from Lonaconing to


Charlestown, and running south, seventy-six degrees


west, four hundred and twenty-three feet; thence


north, eighteen degrees west, one thousand and fifty


feet ; thence north, sixty degrees west, one hundred


and eighty-two feet ; thence north, eighty-two degrees
west, five hundred and fifty- feet ; thence north, eighty


degrees west, one thousand four hundred and fifty


feet; thence north, forty degrees west, one thou-


sand two hundred feet; thence north, fifty-five

north six hundred and thirty-one feet ; thence north,


twenty degrees west, five hundred and fifty feet;

north, fifty-four degrees east, one thousand two hun-


dred and forty-two feet; thence north, thirty-five de-


grees east, one thousand four hundred and fifty feet ;


thence south, fifty-eight degrees east, four hundred


feet ; thence south, three and one-half degrees west,


two thousand five hundred and fifty feet; thence


south, thirty-two degrees west, eight hundred and


thirteen feet ; thence south, twelve degrees west, seven


hundred feet; thence south, six degrees east, four


hundred and fifty feet; thence south, twelve and one-


half degrees east, one thousand feet; thence south,


five degrees east, fourhundred and fifty feet; thence


south, eighty degrees west, five hundred feet to the


place of beginning.
