59 Know all men by these presents that wee Michael: Clugston. Richard: ffarewell and John: Emmet gentr doe acknowledge and confess our Selves to owe and are indebted unto theire Maties William & Mary King and Queen Over England. The just Sum of One hundred pound, Sterling money of England, which we promise to pay to their Maties to their Heirs or Successors and for the true performance of the same to be well and truly paid we bind us and each of us our Heirs Execcutors and Admrs joyntly and Severally in and for the whole in Testimony whereof we have hereunto Sett our hands and Seals this 26th: day of November in the 2d yeare of their Maties Reign & in the yeare of and ninety The Condition of the above sd Obligation is Such, that if the above bounden Michael: Clugston he his Heirs, Execcutors or Administratrs they or any of them do well and truly content satisfie and pay all and every the debts of Alexander Hillis of this County deceased,and further shall and will, satisfie the will and desire of the said deceased (viz) to convey the remaining part of the said Estate to the said deceased wife, or Otherwise as the Law in Such cases shall require and shall likewise keep harmless and indempnified the Court of the said County for probat of Wills and granting of Administrations, as all other the Officers therein Concerned. Wm & Mary by the grace of God of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland King and Queen defendrs of the faith &c To Wm Turvill of this County greeting. whereas Thomas Proffitt of the said Cound deceased wee doe therefore grant unto you the said William Turvill full power & authority to Admr all & singular the goods Chattels and Creditts of the said deceased, And to demand collect and Leavy all and all manner of debt and debts due and owing to the said deceased & well and faithfully to dispose of the same, And out of the goods chattels and Credits of the said deceased which have may or shall come to your hands or possession, well and truly to pay the debts due by the sd deceased, as the same will extend and the law will charge you according to the true value of the sum thereof you having first taken your Oath well and truly to Admr the same, and to make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the goods chattels and Creditts of the said deceased, which have may or shall come to your hands possession or knowledge (appraised in money) and a true and just accompt of and upon yr Admrn therein and to exibit both into our County Court where wills ar proved touching which Inventory you are presently assigned to performe or at farthest at or before the second |
