1690 at Quantico within the Jurisdiction of this Court became indebted unto m^r Stephen: Luffe decd in the just Sum of nine

hundred twenty five pounds of tobacco as p^r acco^t :appears and the sd Christopher being indebted in manner & forme aforesd

did upon himself faithfully promise and assume y^e Said Sum of Tobacco he would well & truely Content & Satisfie when

thereunto required. Nevertheless, his Said promise & assumption ye S^d Sum of tobcco did not pay in the life time of him the

Sd Stephen nor Since his decease to his Adm^rs. whereby they Say they are damnified to the value of 1800 lb of tobacco
