( 153 ) And what the building of ye Said Church requires were to be left to ye Consideration of ye next Sessions of Assembly for the Levying of the Same in the Said County , Signed pr Order . Voted that all the Counties in this Province that have not levied the 40lb of tobacco pr poll for and towards the Maintenance of Ministers or building of Churches the last year that the Same be not levied this year but the next year ensueing, eighty pounds of tobacco pr poll be levied & Collected in ye said Counties Signed pr Order C Lomax Clr Assembly This Board doe Agree to the Same And that Order goe to the Severall Counties Comanding of them ye 40lb pr poll this year & to be imployed to ye Several uses as the Law directs // True Coppy Hen. Maryland Ss I doe hereby Strictly Charge and Comand that the [foresd] Votes and Ordnance mentioned be duely obeyed and observed and that all and Singular the Sheriffs of ye Several & respective Counties within this Province prform their duty therein as likewise give Notice to all Comrs & Officers Millitary & Civill and all other persons any wayes mentioned in a Certaine Order of Councell bearing date ye 31th day of July last past for making [due returne] of the Several [actions] & things by the Said Order enjoyned thereunto this board that [Such as have not] allready fully Complyed with the Severall perticulars therein Conteined & required they doe take Care to make due returns pursuant to former Order unto this board by ye first day of the next Provincial Court to be held in ffebry next as they and every of them will answer ye Contrary at their peril Given under my hand & Seal at the Citty of St Maries this 10th day of November in the Sixth year of their Maties Reign &ca ano Domini 1694 I doe likewise further Order that all the penall Laws be read pursuant to the late Act of Assembly and that all prsons Concerned take Care to put all the Laws in Execution under pain of being proceeded against according to Law. ffra: Nicholson ❂ Sealed //
