THE CHAIRMAN: A great deal has been going on

in Virginia, right across the Potomac River, by way of

annexation, Arlington, Falls Church, and so forth, and it

has not been without protest and difficulty; but it would

be right interesting to really see how they have accom-

plished the annexation and extension that they have
|

managed to do. It has actually come from, I believe, the

state level rather than interagreement, indicating that

you've got to knock heads together in order to accomplish

anything and the way in which it has been successful cer-

tainly would be pertinent for our inquiry.
