removal, or refusal to act, of either of the commissioners

An act for the benefit of Joseph Hucheson, Sheriff of Wor-
cester County

Sec 1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary
land, that the Levy court of Worcester county be and they
hereby are, authorised and required to pay to Joseph Huche-
son, sheriff of Worcester county, such sum as they may think
just and right, as an additional compensation for extraor-
dinary services performed by him in holding an election in
said county, in May last for a representative to the Con-
gress of the United Stales to supply a vacancy occasioned
by the death of Littleton P Dennis, Esquire

Sec 2 And be it enacted That such allowance as shall
be made by the Levy court aforesaid he paid out of the
surplus funds now in the hands of the collector of the tax-
es of Worcester county
