CHAPTER 63.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 16 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Chan-
cery, " sub-title "Infants, " said new section to be known
as Section 74A and to follow immediately after Section
74 of said Article, relating to the jurisdiction of Courts
of Equity in all applications for the adoption of infants
and to repeal all laws inconsistent therewith.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and the same is hereby
added to Article 16 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1924 Edition), title "Chancery, " sub-title "Infants, " said
new section to be known as 74A, to follow immediately
after Section 74 of said Article, and to read as follows:
74A. All persons residing on property lying within the
physical boundaries of any county of this State or within
the boundaries of the City of Baltimore but on property
over which jurisdiction is exercised by the Government
of the United States by virtue of the 17th Clause, 8th Sec-
tion of the First Article of the Constitution of the United
States, and Sections 31 and 32 of Article 96 of the Anno-
tated Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, shall be
considered as residents of the State of Maryland and of
the County or of the City of Baltimore, as the case may be
in which the land is situate for the purpose of jurisdiction
in the Courts of Equity of this State in all applications
for the adoption of infants.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 64,
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
22 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County, " sub-
title "County Commissioners, " providing for Five Com-
missioner Districts in Wicomico and that there shall be
one Commissioner from each of said Districts.
