bonds when and as soon as they shall become redeemable;
and the said taxes are hereby inviolably dedicated to the
payment of the interest and principal of said bonds.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That after the pay-
ment of the interest on said bonds the balance remaining
from said*tax shall be set apart in a fund known as the
"Bond Redemption Fund" to be reinvested in securities
the Burgess and the Commissioners of Emmitsburg may
select; and the fund thereby created to be used in the re-
demption and retirement of said bonds from time to time
in the manner set forth in Section 2 of this Act.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That the question of
the issue of said bonds and the aggregate amount thereof
shall be submitted by the Burgess and Commissioners of
Emmitsburg, at the next municipal election in the said
Town of Emmitsburg on the sixth day of May A. D. 1935,
between the hours of two o'clock p. m. and six o'clock p. m.
to the legal and qualified voters of the Town of Emmits-
burg; provided at least ten days notice of the time, place
and object of said election prior to said election, by pub-
lication in one or more newspapers published in Frederick
County, and the said notice shall also state plainly the
aggregate amount of bonds to be issued for the purpose of
this Act.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That at the said elec-
tion in said Town of Emmitsburg, a vote shall be taken
whether or not the bor|d issue herein provided for shall be
made, which election shall be held under the provisions of
law now governing election in the Town of Emmitsburg;
and for taking said vote there shall be printed on separate
ballots at said election the words "For the Issue of Bonds,
For the general improvement, fire protection, construction
of sewerage disposal plant, improvement of streets, alleys
and cross roads in the Town of Emmitsburg. " And the
words "Against the Issue of Bonds, For the general im-
provement, fire protection, construction of sewerage dis-
posal plant, improvement of streets, alleys and cross roads
in the Town of Emmitsburg, " and if a majority of the legal
and, qualified voters voting at said election shall vote in
favor of said bond issue for the purpose aforesaid, then the
Burgess and Commissioners of Emmitsburg be and they
are hereby authorized and empowered to issue bonds upon
the credit of said Town of Emmitsburg, as hereinbefore
