hereby authorized and directed to levy annually on the tax-
able property of said County a sum of money sufficient to
pay the interest on said bonds and to redeem said bonds
as they mature and become payable, and said taxes shall be
collected in like manner as other taxes are collected in said
County and when collected, shall be applied to the payment
of the interest on said bonds and the redemption of said
bonds as they mature and become payable.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 84.
AN ACT to provide for the auditing of the books and ac-
counts of the Commissioners and Treasurer of St.
Michaels and the books and accounts of the St. Michaels
Utilities Commission.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Commissioners of the town of St.
Michaels, Talbot County, be and they are hereby authorized
and directed to have audited the books and accounts of said
Commissioners and of the Treasurer of said town, and the
books and accounts of the St. Michaels Utilities Commission
for the years 1929 to 1934, inclusive. The said audit shall
be begun as promptly as possible after the approval of
this Act, but in no event later than May 1, 1935, and shall
be carried through to completion without interruption of
undue delay.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That for the purposes of
carrying out the mandate imposed by this Act and by way
of rendering assistance to said Commissioners, Norman
M, Shannahan, Jennings B. Quillen and Sidney R. Orem,
all of St. Michaels, Maryland, are hereby constituted a spe-
cial committee, with sole power and authority to select and
name a certified public accountant to make said audit and
to do any and all things necessary or advisable in their
judgment to have the same completed and published.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the said Com-
missioners of St. Michaels be and they are hereby author-
