ized and directed to levy and pay the sum of six hundred
($600. 00) dollars or so much thereof as may be required to
pay for the audit of the books and accounts of said Com-
missioners and the Treasurer, and three hundred ($300. 00)
dollars or so much thereof as may be required for the audit
of the books and accounts of the St. Michaels Utilities
Commission.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of public health and safety and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the Two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 85.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
182 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
(1929 Supplement), title "Licenses, " sub-title "Fees for
Registration of Motor Vehicles, " as said section was
amended by Chapter 281 of the Acts of 1933, adding a
new class of trailers for registration by the Commis-
sioner of Motor Vehicles.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 182 of Article 56 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1929 Supplement), title "Licen-
ses, " sub-title "Fees for Registration of Motor Vehicles, "
as said section was amended by Chapter 281 of the Acts
of 1933 be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
182. The following fees shall be paid per annum to the
Commissioner of Motor Vehicles for the markers and cer-
tificates of registration issued by him in accordance with
the provisions of this sub-title.
Class A. Pneumatic Tires. Thirty-two cents (32$) per
horse power or fraction thereof in the case of all motor
vehicles having pneumatic tires with the exception of com-
