       and appointed and by these Presents Do make Ordain Authorize
       Nominate Constitute and appoint Duncan Campbell of London Merchant
       my true and Lawful Attorney for me as well in my own Right as surviving
       Partner as aforesaid and in my Name Place and Stead but for my proper
       Use and Benefit to ask demand sue for recover and receive of and from all
       and every Person and Persons whatsoever in the Leeward Caribbee Islands
       and Jamaica and Barbadoes and all other parts and Places of the West
       Indies and also in Virginia Maryland and all other Parts in North
       America all and every Sum and Sums of Money Goods Chattels Books
       Papers Deeds Writings and Effects whatsoever due owing or belonging
       to me as Surviving Partner as aforesaid or in my own Right or otherwise
       howsoever and also to liquidate State settle adjust and Agree
       all Accounts Matters and Differences ^whatsoever^ which now are or hereafter shall
       or may be depending between me as Surviving Partner as aforesaid
       and in my own Right or otherwise howsoever and any other Person or
       Persons whatsoever And to Compound and Agree all Debts and
       Demands whatsoever as my said Attorney shall think fit and Reasonable
       And to remit Send and Consign the Money Goods Chattels and
       Effects which my said Attorney shall recover and receive by Virtue of
       these Presents to me the Said John Stewart my Executors or Administrators
       in such manner as my said Attorney shall think proper and
       Reasonable for my Benefit and upon Receipt of all and every Sum
       and Sums of Money Goods Chattels Books Writings and Effects for me
       and in my Name Place and Stead as Surviving Partner as aforesaid or
       otherwise in my own Right as the Case shall happen or in the Name
       of my said Attorney as he shall think fit and Necessary to give full
       and sufficient Releases Acquittances and Discharges for the Same
       and every part thereof and also for me in my own Right and as
       Surviving Partner as aforesaid and in my Name place and stead to
       Sign Seal and as my Act and Deed deliver all and every such
